A list of my favorite hyperpop songs

Hyperpop - the genre

Hyperpop is a genre of music that emerged in the late 2010s, early 2020s. It’s a bit hard to categorize, but most songs are a blend of rap, pop, and electronic music, with liberal use of autotune and distortion.

I was first introduced to the genre sometime around ~2022, and I explored it through obscure playlists recommended to me on youtube. Many of these songs have only a few thousand plays.

Here’s a collection of songs I’ve enjoyed over the years, grouped by artist. My favorites have a heart next to them, and artists marked with a ⭐ are ones whose entire discographies are worth exploring:
